@pavyg I think this is good news for Novak's Turin hopes (if that remains a priority for him). He can take a wildcard into one of Vienna/Basel, and then head to the Paris Masters with less urgency to lift the trophy there.
I just watched The Social Reckoning. While Jeremy Strong is an incredible actor, I just couldn’t see him as the Zuck (kept seeing Kendall Roy with a weird haircut). BUT Mikey Madison and Bill Burr are excellent as always, and it’s a decent enough one-time watch.
This is the best Novak Djokovic has looked in...awhile. The footwork, technique, the way he’s moving physically.
He’s smiling and enjoying himself. The returns are there, too. Zverev is just serving lights out, as usual.
Really encouraging stuff from Djoker looking sharp and having fun.
@iamkaran_101 That's fair - SRK definitely took more risks earlier in his career doing films like Darr, Baazigar (where he kills off the initial heroine but still managed to gain sympathy from the audience), and Anjaam (which I personally hated but he did a good job playing outright villain).
@pavyg Reminds me of Federer having 99% of Rod Laver Arena behind him when he played a super tiebreaker against John Millman in 2020. I feel like Alex Eala had majority support against Iva Jovic in New York this year too. Different reasons, of course, but it happens.
@levitoslam Literally nobody cares about seeing him with his girlfriend - we know she exists, we know she's a model, we know he's a tennis player, etc. I do want to see him back on the tennis court though, the tour needs him!
@Raulgunner2 I thought they'd do a better job of protecting the players after what happened in Rome 2024. Honestly in this case it might have been an overly exuberant Novak fan that didn't know their own strength in tossing the cap his direction.
