Not everything needs to be realistic. Immersion should be the goal. This falls into my category of "realistic, but gets in the way of gameplay".

Its one of those things that looks cool in a movie, but when you're playing, you need to feel in control of your character.

The unnecessary bump in aiming in the new ads animation has nothing to do with the mouse movement, and will end up feeling unimmersive imo
