PEN Sweden and PEN Eritrea marked Dawit Isaak's 60th birthday this past weekend in Stockholm and Gothenburg, voices rose in song, poetry, and stories of resilience.
Sofia Berhane, Dawit's wife, shared a poem in Tigrinya, which was later translated by Elisabeth Löfgren, chairperson of Free Dawit.
