Not sure it's how you're meant to grow it but overwintered romanesco cauliflower looks fine as.

@MissS_Wilson @ballater6 In terms of herbs, I find them fiddly to grow from seed (cost adds up if you buy them as plants) and they haven't been super appealing to the kids (taste too strong by themselves). They like the chives though! I think raspberries would be expensive - you buy them as canes

Lettuce - grows quickly and harvestable at whatever stage they get to
We've started tomatoes and dahlias inside already - you could do that yourself and then give them the plants to plant after Easter

@MissS_Wilson It will be fantastic! Gardening club at school is the highlight of my week. Reliable things: potatoes (start chitting them yourself now and plant with the kids after Easter - should be harvestable before the end of term)
peas - grow an early variety and give them netting to climb

@JoeBarnesMoran1 Sure - it's 22 down and 41 across so it's just a big array. Did you used to teach grid method multiplication for TOxTO? It's like that ie 22 x 41 is 20 x 40 + 2 x 40 + 1 x 20 + 1 x 2

@JoeBarnesMoran1 The same - but you'd need 18 hundreds so it works better as teaching input rather than a strategy the children can use themselves to work out an answer.

@thomasforth Well you also can't get a train to Waterloo from Waterloo (you'd need St Pancras) or Euston from Euston (you'd need Liverpool Street, or actually Liverpool Lime Street). You could get to Victoria from Victoria (via Gatwick), or indeed to St Pancras (or what's left of him in Rome)
