Telangana State Public Service Commission must postpone the Group-1 Mains exam going to be held between October 21 to October 27 to another date till grievances of the candidates are heard & resolved. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear petition against GO 29 of TGPSC on Monday (October 21), and on the same day the exam is scheduled. Candidates, especially belonging to SC, ST and OBC are seeking clarification regarding modifications made to GO 55. Instead of hearing out candidates’ grievances the Telangana government has resorted to brutal assault on peacefully protesting candidates.

Candidates have sought clarification regarding:

1. What will be the outcome of GO 55 if upheld in the final judgment?
( If the Court orders the implementation of GO 55, will the government consider re-conducting the Group 1 mains examination? If so, will this be applicable to all candidates or only to those newly eligible under GO 55?)

2. What if the Court cancels the Group 1 mains exam?
(Should this happen, how does the government plan to proceed? Will there be a complete re-examination for all candidates, or will it be restricted to those affected by the change?)

3.Normalisation and fairness for candidates eligible under GO 29:
( What measures will be taken to ensure fairness for candidates who were previously eligible under GO 29 but might be adversely affected by the implementation of GO 55? Will there be any process of normalisation to balance the changes?)

4. Prelims and Mains Hall Ticket Numbers:

(Why is there a discrepancy between the hall ticket numbers for the prelims and mains exams? This discrepancy has raised concerns among aspirants about potential irregularities or hidden agenda. Clarity on this matter is of utmost importance to maintain trust in the examination process).

In the current situation, without clear answers to these pressing questions, the lives and careers of thousands of students are at stake.

The students deserve to know why there is such a rush to conduct the exams while these crucial issues remain unresolved. #TGPSC #Telangana
