@TheDartsReferee I’ve had 6 hole in one’s, total luck-anyone can get one. I’ve hit a 180 about 10 times- let alone a 9 darter. As for a 147, used to play a bit, a 50 odd break felt incredible so a 147 is extraordinary.
@4golfonline More holes would ultimately increase the chance of the best player winning and most tournaments want to achieve that.
Your question was whether the event would be better, would the fans/spectators lose interest if it was drawn out over 5,6 or 7 days? Probably
@chambleebrandel@BradFaxon This is total nonsense 😂 come on you are better than this. Presumably he must miss the ball if he uses three wood from the tee
@GolfMonthly So does your local PGA pro, no need to guess the sizing, you can try them on, get advice the best option and support a small business #thosewhoknow
@JAC_192@richardmansel14@FIFAcom If the hole is 335 yards long and Rory hits that shot is it less exciting? 15 yard reduction is being proposed, Rory would still be one of the few capable of pulling it off
@JAC_192@richardmansel14@FIFAcom It was an amazing shot, 350 carry with that accuracy is astonishing, no question at all about that, my argument is not that golf isn’t exciting now, I just feel it won’t be diminished with the proposed changes and there are obvious benefits if they are adopted
@JAC_192@richardmansel14@FIFAcom The game was entertaining in the past, when Seve hit it on the 10th at the Belfry it was an incredible shot, now they would be hitting hybrid, when Faldo was in between 5 wood and 2 iron on the 13th at Augusta there was jeopardy, now they go in with short irons
@chambleebrandel On this point it is absolutely the PGA tours call, it is a proposed local rule that can be implemented but I don’t see anyway that it can be forced upon them.
Presumably the R&A and USGA will implement in their events, I imagine the Masters will follow.
@AndrewRiding86@simonmajor14 Not only is this incorrect but if this is the criteria I can’t imagine Curling is a booming sport or Snooker is played by the masses
