@DartmoorZoo Thank you for having one of our school groups today. Itโs the first activities week in 2 years for us and our first day has been a huge success!
@MissLDawson_ Use the examiner comments and exemplar answers for common misconceptions. Use exam questions a lot, interleaved in lessons and expect a lot of GCSE to fall out of their brains over the summer!
@TeachEatSleep1 Reversible reactions first then closed systems. Then introduce equilibrium as forward rate = backward rate. Finish off with walking up a down escalator analogy (plus dodgy stick man drawing). Ask how we would be able to reach the top before introducing our mate Le Chatelier.
I would like to do a year group assembly live. I have heard of people doing this on Zoom for more than 100 people but I wondered if you needed a premium account for this? I want to check before setting it up. Thanks #eduhelp
@CLEAPSS Yes! Year Seven earnt their Bunsen Burner licenses last week! A handy dandy post it system lets other staff know when we can next use equipment between bubbles and our techies have a cool goggle sanitising routine going on! Year 13 aspirin PAG next for me ๐
Anyone finding Zoom lessons quite awkward? My usually chatty and dynamic Y10s are silent and passive. Is anyone getting value from them? If so how do you plan them? I feel my videos are doing a better job! #teacherhelp
@debrakidd@adamboxer1 What about they students? How do they feel about losing their weekends and summer holidays? Mine have been working hard and they need the break!
