We are walking 1,000km to raise money for @peachestrust & @eveappeal - I want to turn my devastating diagnosis in to something positive 🥲
If you’d like to support, our fundraising page is here: https://t.co/lvXgMRTXBo
Thank you! ❤️
Our Trust has a big impact on the environment and the NHS itself accounts for around 6% of all UK emissions. Here’s what we’re doing to tackle air pollution and be part of the first ‘net zero’ national health service: https://t.co/DdlDwlhz3j #cleanairday#Birmingham#Solihull
Doing our bit to tackle air quality @uhbtrust - the start of a 12 month study @qehbham and @HeartlandsUHB thanks to @WMAir_UoB. Thanks for braving the rain with me Rukudzo! #airquality @BrumBreathes
London has come so far to support safe cycling in recent years - just one of many examples I’ve seen today. Please @BhamCityCouncil, we need to do so much more. New pop up cycle lanes are fine but no where near or comprehensive enough
Great @uhbtrust leadership lecture this afternoon: how do overcome challenges of communicating when frontline staff are so overloaded with information? We have to focus on where people are getting their info from - and go there - and can’t rely on traditional cascade of info
Such an important read - the stories of inequality in training, promotion & workplace experiences are heart breaking. We still have a long way to go and “everyone has a role to play in an org’s race equality and inclusion effort - through leadership, participation & allyship”
Our new report explores how three NHS provider organisations have sought to address workforce race inequalities, and develop positive and inclusive working environments for staff. @ShilpaRoss @JoniJabbal @KChauhanUK @MandipRandhawa7 @dpjsmaguire@sihamad9 https://t.co/q8MLZKUHCU
Superb initial covid response plan to be delivered in #Birmingham inside 8 weeks with much more to follow when more funding is released in July. We will be adding these schemes to our #spacetomove map so people can feedback. Well done @BhamCityCouncil 👏

There are relational and cultural consequences of the way the health and care system has worked during the #COVID19 crisis. As the system begins to plan for recovery, @allisontrimble1 cautions that these consequences can’t be ignored. https://t.co/HBX3zUf4Yj
For the last two months I’ve been working with four brilliant consultants, who have been our Senior Responsible Clinicians @qehbham, leading the hospital’s response to Covid. Thank you for all you’ve done Paul, Mark, Fiona and Dion. We are indebted to you!
I’ve been working 12 hour days at the hospital, sometimes 7 days a week. The only bit of fresh air I’ve been getting is the cycle to work - but today my bike was stolen outside the main entrance. Most of the country are rallying around the #NHS, but some people clearly aren’t 😢
This happened last week to me James 😢 so sorry. The amazing twitter community rallied after mine was stolen and the generous @Halfords_uk got me a new one. This guy is way more deserving than me - twitter friends, please help!
I’m also in awe of the community response to this, you’ve all been amazing. People and organisations across the country have offered me spare bikes, loaned bikes, hybrid bikes, new bikes, old bikes...thank you for all your support to the #nhs right now. You keep us going
I have been so touched by all the support, and feel humbled by how many people near and far have got in touch to try and help. I’m delighted to say this story has a happy ending: the amazing @Halfords_uk called to say they are giving me a new bike!! You guys are just amazing
Just popped in to the @qehbham health and well-being hub. Amazing efforts to set up and thanks for all the donations! @amypassey16@ByronBatten@LStalleygreen
Absolutely blown away by all the kind messages and thoughts - thank you colleagues, friends and twitter community! Have had so many kind offers and gestures - I’ll come back to you tomorrow! Thank you again for thinking of me x
