I had the honour of being part of a panel launching the report from @PIECEstudy, confirming that dads' involvement in early childcare and learning activities genuinely makes a significant difference. Just 10 minutes a day is all that we need! #father
@DrGallagherM (5) We also ran consultation forums with dads from different family types during the project to better understand some of the challenges around father engagement. We would love to do more qualitative follow-up work like that.
@DrGallagherM (4) Of course, more research needs to be done on more diverse family forms and we would love to do such research if it is possible to get hold of good quality, representative data.
@DrGallagherM (6) Thanks for your comments on this. It is such an important point and one we do always want to make clear when presenting these findings.
@LeedsUniBSchool @CERIC_LUBS@ESRC@PIECEstudy This is such an important piece of research. Going to help me as a parent and also as an educationist running my early year education facility.
