It’s #RefugeeWeek this week so we want to pay tribute to our amazing PROJEKT ENCOUNTER participants, who have brought joy to our Monday evenings in Canterbury.
This year, @ProjektEuropa ran PROJEKT ENCOUNTER, a series of workshops for 1st generation migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, in collaboration with our University of Kent School of Arts.
We had our final sharing on Monday 10 June after 20 weeks of work led by theatre-makers and Kent alumni, Francisca Stangel and @TomTegento, with support from Drama lecturers @AngieVaraki and @margheritalaera, and the School of Arts’ staff and students, including Drama MA student, Surya Chandra. Thanks to everyone who came together to make this project happen!
