I wish special backgrounds were shown like this
instead we get a 2 second preview of the background on the pokemon screen and unable to show it off to our friends unless we show them our screens
Shoe0nHead brought up Hasan & his Pragmata take in her recent video
"Maybe there's a reason ppl are yearning to start a family and can't afford to have one..can't seem to find a partner..they feel alienated..if only there was a political commentator to speak abt all this, oh well guess not"
"The only care about something if it affects u is extremely libertarian coded..what is this nihilistic horsesh*t, ya never aspire for anything..this is the dude the media wants us to believe is going to save young men from the alt right pipeline, ya ok”
“Check out this S-haver over here..I'm sure all those unF'able losers could easily go to foreign br*thels and pay for S like u Hasan..something weird about a man who could easily consensually get S..but chooses to go to a br*thel..also 35, no kids?"
"Sitting in his ugly a*s $600 Gucci sweater..on his high horse looking down at ppl for wanting something more..the entire meaning of life is somehow confusing to Hasan Piker"
Hey @PokemonUnite. We now know yall are reading all of our posts so how about actually fix the game and tournaments thta everyone has been complaining about? You guys lost so many players in last year and a half and you pull this shit? Embarrassing
I wasn’t even going to make a post on this given how so many others have already, but I can’t stop thinking about it. Who’s actually making the directional changes at Pokémon Unite? Because from where I’m at, it really seems like the people making decisions have never once looked at what the community and player base are asking for.
Think about what this game actually is, it is a MOBA built around one of the most beloved franchises on the PLANET EARTH. MOBAs live and die by keeping players hooked over months and years. That means rotating things on the maps, a steady stream of new Pokémon pulling from different generations, varied end game objectives (keep slotting in new legendaries), fresh consistent balance changes, cosmetics, holowear, ways to actually personalize your profile, literally the whole package. The audience for something like this isn’t just large, it’s basically endless.
That’s the whole reason I walked away from League to give this game a shot. A Pokémon MOBA felt like it had the bones to be something special, something that could grow and reinvent itself season after season. But every single patch it feels like all that potential has taken a back seat to squeezing money out of the people who actually show up and play. Maybe I’ve been just spoiled at the level of communication and game play balance from Riot Games…
And the thing is, I’m not saying this out of bitterness. I’ve dumped a ton of hours into this game, competed competitively, posted content and kept coming back because I genuinely enjoy it. That’s what makes it so hard to watch it lose what made it worth playing in the first place.
I just hope the people in charge of Pokemon Unite whether they actually see the social media posts and sentiments, they actually sat down and watched the player base retention rates, Daily and Monthly Active Users (DAU/MAU), average revenue per user (ARPU), etc. because there’s no way as an executive or board member just sits there and watches a product tank like this unless it’s intentional. Anyways, I just hope they listen even a tiny bit to the community and let the people know they are heard. Ok done ranting, have a good day everyone.

@All_Hail_Bidoof@spragels " My partner didn't stop what they were doing and help me stack and I got KO so now I'm going somewhere else to have a better time."
@PKMNAttica Evidently, this event was not supposed to be "accessible." It's a finale fit for whales and thats it. Funny how an event can be touted as "Incentivizing group coordination" still ends up alienating probably most of the player base.
