25 years ago today, the very first exhibition race for the Truck Series was held. In a 20 lap event at Mesa Marin, PJ Jones won.

Also at the track that night, Kevin Harvick made his NASCAR debut in a 100 lap Southwest Tour race. He finished last.

He is out of the crash ward and home looking and doing very well !! He is Determined to get his legs back in shape and kick some butt ! He wants to thank everyone for there support and prayers!!

I am happy to report that the oldest living winner of the INDY 500 is doing much better!! After a bad reaction to anesthesia, Parnelli is getting much stronger and doing really well in therapy for his Parkinson’s!! He’s barking orders now !!

Thank you for all the support and well wishes for my father, Parnelli. As for
those who didn’t know, Parnelli has had a few health issues the last few years and has been battling Parkinson’s. The last couple weeks have been tuff for him.
