it's so easy to look at a conference in the winter in the Bahamas and think "oh it's just a nice little tropical vacation," but what @stefdelev, @NFTMami, and @marvelgirl_eth have built is SO much more than that

builders in the Caribbean have to build and adapt. they have to be creative and dynamic. the pressures faced in the islands (from a bevy of sources - climate change and ensuing natural disasters, lack of international investment, difficult economies at home) are no joke.

and yet - Oasis Onchain is filled with the warmest, kindest people, who take the challenges seriously but with their own island flair. the intra country coordination is inspiring. there's a familial culture and a sense of peace, even during what could be considered hardship.

I learned so much last year. I walked away with a million warm fuzzy feelings, I learned about my own biases, I was inspired to do more and do better. cannot wait for this year!
