This is why I enjoy being an MRI tech. I have a list of patients. I do list of patients. I go home. But management still finds a way to make things difficult, but I think that's the story everywhere 🫠
This is not a parody account. This is an official account belonging to the French government.
While their morgues are overflowing due to heat deaths, they proudly proclaim the absurd belief that refusing to use air conditioning to save lives will stop heat waves in the future.
The “just get AC” comments totally DIDN’T miss the point.
Nobody asked whether Europe has always been this hot. The point is how absurd it is that Europeans refuse to react when things change.
The PNW also always had cool, mild summers. Then the 2021 Heat Dome hit. Typical highs in the 20s°C suddenly became 40°C+ for days. Over 1,400 died.
We also lagged far behind in AC ownership. In 2015, only about 35% of WA homes had AC. By 2020 it was 53%. By 2025 it was <70%.
Why? Because we didn’t need AC before. Then things changed, so we installed ACs, turned them on. Simple as.
Meanwhile, Europeans deny, complain, make excuses, determined to do literally anything except install a damn unit and fix the problem.
The American mind truly cannot comprehend the European level of stupidity & arrogance.
not to add to the discourse, but i think we’re leaving out an important component of the male loneliness conversation: the men have GOT to sort out the snoring!!!!
That's 100.4° in American
Medically stupid and unsafe
There is a reason why operating rooms are kept at 68°F
They are literally killing people with this aversion to air conditioning
americans: hey you’re all dying over there, there’s near sahara temperatures outdoors, northern cities were built to retain heat, climate change will doom us all in a few years. get some a/c .
europeans: i will bake myself in my oven home.
