From George Reid, whose innovation led to fire poles used worldwide, to Molly Williams, the first known female and Black firefighter in the United States, their courage and legacy continue to inspire those who serve our community today.

The @CityBrampton is launching its #BramBudget2026 public engagement process, providing residents, businesses and community stakeholders with opportunities to share feedback and priorities as the proposed budget is prepared.

Community input remains a crucial part of the City’s annual budget development process and helps inform investments supporting Brampton as a great place to live, work and grow.

Engagement opportunities will take place throughout January and include virtual roundtables, in-person Ward Coffee Chats and a Telephone Town Hall where residents can ask questions, share feedback and participate in live polling.
