We created a new data driven science algorithm that is comparable to neural networks predicting and simulating brains w/o latent variables & guaranteed explainability. Variables are experimentally testable & provide a mathematical proof for universality.

During Thanksgiving break last year, our AI co-scientist team @GoogleDeepMind@GoogleResearch - @Mysiak@alan_karthi met Prof @jrpenades@CostaT_Lab of @ImperialCollege.
They were nearing a breakthrough on how bacteria share resistance genes and proposed a test for our AI co-scientist: pose their exact research question to the system and see what it found.

Last month at the Mathematical foundations of biological organization meeting at Les Diablerets 🇨🇭got to hang out with some dynamical systems legends and ran into some unexpected old friends at the meeting Nextdoor.
The “Manifolds in Nature” meeting this year was held in Geneva, Switzerland 🇨🇭 on May 11-16 organized by Stanislav Smirnov and myself. This edition was more focused on the mathematics. It intersected with the Georges de Rham lectures by two of the meeting participants.
