Yesterday I visited Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala, where a separate unit has been prepared to treat #Ebola patients. I'm glad for the opportunity to meet with health workers in charge and thank them for their dedication. I am very happy with all the work invested in preparedness and readiness that I have witnessed.
I commend the Government of #Uganda for the work being done to control Ebola and provide care for those affected. Uganda’s leadership has been central to the response, and @WHO remains committed to supporting national efforts to stop transmission, save lives and protect communities.

Visited this afternoon Tripple J Agro farm in Bombo. Its an 80 acre dairy farm with 140 dairy animals indoors ( zero grazing). They are powering their operations 100% with Bio-gas from the animal waste. Its zero waste for them.
They are also processing yogurt and gradually going into pasteurized and powdered milk.
Excited to see commercial farmers investing and developing whole value chains on farm and therefore creating Jobs!
Our strategy as government in the next 5 years is to ensure that all clusters of farmers ( small, medium & large ) get supported to fully produce with added value. PDM interventions will be scaled up to support more small holders while favorable ( low or no interest) credit facilities will be rolled-out through UDB and other government banks to support the medium and large scale clusters. This is how the agriculture sector will create more jobs and contribute substantially to the 10 fold growth strategy of the economy and be able to sustain the agro-industries.
Yesterday I signed an agreement establishing Diplomatic relations between Uganda and Uruguay. My colleague Ambassador Dupuy Lassere signed on behalf of her country and the ceremony was witnessed by Hon. Mario Lubetkin the Foreign Minister of Uruguay.
In my life of constant wars, my best soldiers were not Banyankore or Bahima. No! Rather they were Acholi, Madi, Lugbara and Karimojong. It doesn't matter how you look or what language you speak. All that matters is who you are as a person.
With utmost humility, I thank H.E @KagutaMuseveni for re-appointing me to cabinet. Thank you Mzee for trusting me and giving me an opportunity to serve my country. I pledge (as always); Loyalty & total commitment to duty.
To my Chairman Afande @mkainerugaba, thank you your support & for believing in me.
God bless my leader .God bless Uganda!
This is to thank @mkainerugaba in a special way for his Friendship and support over the years. I look forward to working together as we protect and serve vital interests of our country.
As Chairman of PLU, I want to sincerely apologize to H.E. the President for the embarassing, uncharacteristic and wrong words one of our members, Andrew Mwenda, used against you. We are going to subject our member to a disciplinary process. The NRM/PLU alliance is strong.
I refused to join Parliament so that I do not take more money from the people of Uganda. I have dedicated all my allowances as CDF to the people of my country. All those who are interested in jobs and positions have not understood the gospel of PLU.
My young brother Hon.Kabanda is the General Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda, a much more important position than being a cabinet minister. His job is to organise and mobilise the millions of young people in our country. Kabanda will get a ministerial job when Todwong gets one.
Mzee General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,
I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the confidence and trust you have placed in me by appointing me Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uganda. I am profoundly honored by this responsibility and humbled by the opportunity to continue serving our nation under your leadership.
I remain fully committed to advancing Uganda’s foreign policy objectives, safeguarding our national interests, and strengthening our diplomatic relations across the region and globally . I pledge to serve with loyalty, diligence, and dedication in pursuit of Uganda’s peace, prosperity, and strategic aspirations.
Thank you, Your Excellency, for your continued guidance and confidence.
Congratulations to Prof. Lawrence Muganga upon your appointment as Minister of State for Internal Affairs. 🇺🇬
Your journey as a former Ugandan diasporan who once resided in Canada stands as a powerful testament to the extraordinary impact that diasporans can make when they return home and dedicate their knowledge, global exposure, and expertise toward national transformation.
Through visionary leadership, innovation, and unwavering patriotism, you fundamentally transformed Uganda’s education system through progressive reforms, critical inquiry, technological integration, and student-centered learning that has inspired an entire generation of young Ugandans.
More importantly, you have courageously dismantled the false narrative that success, significance, and opportunity can only be attained outside Africa. You have become living proof that one can return home and architect meaningful, lasting transformation from within our own nation.
On behalf of Ugandans living in the diaspora, we congratulate you upon this historic appointment and pray that God grants you wisdom, strength, discernment, and divine guidance as you undertake this important responsibility in service to Uganda and her people.
Your friends, admirers, and supporters in Edmonton, Alberta are immensely proud of you and wish you nothing but extraordinary success.
Congratulations once again, Prof. Lawrence Muganga.

The task is to deliver beyond expectations and bridge more generational leaders.
