17 years ago, the PLU & PLU football community lost a legend in John “Nellie” Nelson.

Grateful to have an alumni community eager to keep his legacy of service and humility alive in our program and players!

RIP Nellie!

Remembering the great Frosty Westering today. With 305 wins and 4 national titles, his resume was hall-of-fame worthy; but his true legacy lives on in the thousands of lives he touched by leading with love and positivity. #RIPFrostyWestering #Attaway

[Jim Shapiro @jimshapiro]

While playing college football for Frosty Westering @PLUFootball an overseas team trip to Germany was one of the most unforgettable, life-changing experiences of my life.

Great article from Global Sports & Events on D3 international travel. Honored to be quoted. https://t.co/7glIXWCOWv

Helmet of the day #41! Pacific Lutheran Lutes! @PLUFootball played @d3football @D3FBHuddle out of @NorthwestConf in Tacoma Washington! This is an older look from them but the logo is awesome! @BrantMcAdams is the head man for this Northwest traditional powerhouse! @CFBHome

"Developing coaches from within has been a critical piece of maintaining continuity for our players. I have full confidence in Mike's leadership of our defense moving forward. Our standard doesn't change. If anything, it rises," -@PLUFootball Brant McAdams
