The initiative is called “Handle With Care”. The initiative will train 400 teachers, police officers to help students who experience trauma.

This program is just one step closer to Mayor Parker’s Safer, Greener City plan.

Honored to stand along side (@PHLschools )Leadership and Office of School Safety along with Philadelphia Police Commissioner Bethel (@PPDCommish ) while they unveiled a $1M program to help students exposed to violence.

Please see attached below my letter to all cadets regarding the recent uptake of gun violence against youth in the City of Philadelphia while traveling on the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) transit system and during afternoon school dismissals.

Myself along with the entire PMA Lion Brigade stand in solidarity with the Imhotep Charter School community after learning about the death of 17 year old Dayemen Semaj Taylor.

Losing any member of any school community is emotional.
