I had a dip in my wellbeing with everything that's going on. I decided to take action in April, get my fitness back.
Today I ran 5k, did a 30 minute cardio workout, walked 4 miles and doing 21,121 steps.
I may weigh 217 pounds but Im losing weight, getting fitter & happier.
‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?

I've recently connected to a few hobbies, this has helped me switch off from the pressures and focus on myself.
Running, walking, bonsai, painting, writing and gardening.

Saying No and being okay with doing nothing has taken me a long time to be okay with it. To not get frustrated at myself.
Now I look forward to just taking time out where possible and getting back to focusing on myself.

5 Ways to help you when you have too much on before PMDD
1. Write Down Every Little Thing
2. communicate, ask for help or speak up about your struggles
3. Prioritize Tasks
4. Schedule events after the bad times If possible
5. Just say No and be okay to do nothing.

Okay some things may fall on PMDD hell but if that catch up can be made a week later, make it. Don't add too much pressure on yourself during hell week.

Priorities, what do I really need to get done! This is what I all ways ask myself during PMDD.
If it can wait a few days, then its okay to wait.

Communicating my struggles has helped me understand my triggers, limitations. It's also helped others know how they can support me.
Without being open I would struggle more.

Writing everything I have to do, or what pops up in my mind! It helps me during the Brain Fog.
It also helps me to switch off, makes the insomnia times less awful as not so many thoughts rushing around.
It's very hard for others who don't live with PMDD to understand what it's like.
I've found #pmddpeeps so supportive because they understand.
Being open can help those close to you have some insight into your struggles and battles.
Let's start #pmddhour off.
Having everyday struggles and pressures can be very difficult for people, but for #pmddpeeps it can be worsened during PMDD times.
How do you manage to balance those pressures? What helps you?

My pmdd makes me feel overwhelmed by everything, home, work, being a mum, wife. Now I just say that I can't go shopping or do certain things, they have to wait until I'm back.
@MF11012 There is definitely an extra pressure when being a mum. Especially with this image of the perfect mum.
My son's teachers have learnt there will be times, things just won't be done and I'm okay with that.

I used to hate admitting that I found things too much. Even when it could have been the simplistic thing as getting dressed or putting my laundry away.
Once I knew how I was feeling was PMDD, I was able to understand what I can and can't do in my monthly cycle.
#pmddhour
After 20 years of living with PMDD, I'm now comfortable in saying NO!
Sorry I can't do that just now
Or being comfortable to turn down things, because I know the stress it would cause if I did it.
