Sad goodbye to David Jolicoeur -- #TrugoyTheDove of #DeLaSoul. A great guy in a great group that was more than usually screwed over by the brave new digital music biz

with 13 seconds -> don't kick it into the end zone for a touchback, make them return it w running clock

then with ~9 second -> tackle every receiver, eat the 5-yard penalty, clock ticks until sack/inc (you can only do that 1x)

then with ~4 seconds -> defend the 60-yd hail mary

- Sign Teddy Bridgewater (3-yr, $63M with $33M guaranteed).
- Cut Cam Newton.
- Trade for Sam Darnold (2nd, 4th and 6th).
- Trade Bridgewater (6th).
- Pick up Darnold's 5th-year option ($18.85M).

A comedy of errors.

For a sportswriter, interviewing John Thompson was the closest it must feel to playing Carnegie Hall -- thrilling, nerve-wracking, humbling and, if you did your job well, impossibly rewarding. RIP to a one-of-a-kind icon.
