@HawkEmDownChris It was hard to keep up with Robin Williams! He'd be on Johnny Carson and slip into 30-40 different voices, accents, impressions and trains of thought before Johnny could even ask him a question! Hilarious and dizzying!
@ErnestKopp2@ChrisParno Absolutely. The correct nomenclature should be "Regional" or "Sectional" Champs etc. Not sure why lots of us in the area started referring to it as plurals (many years ago for some of us!)

@huntmartinpga We had one or two bats to share between about 25 neighborhood kids. One baseball glove per guy. Usually 5-8 baseballs that were nearly black from years of dirt and mud on them. No sleeves, batting or sliding gloves... We were very so-so players but loved every minute of it.
