@freetothink1231@MarqsJO Yeah I’d say Verse is more so worth a late first and late second/early third. Regardless I think it’s pretty good value for a player at the end of his prime on a large contract with a NMC.
@dcfan229@ajflax That’s kind of my point though. He’s in rookie ball. I get being excited about his potential, but he’s playing against teenagers. Until he’s shown he can do it against guys more advanced than him, putting him in the T30 is aggressive.
@lighskinpapi@therealmikefunk@McLaurinWR1 Dogshit weapons? 😂
We have a top 10 OL, decent backfield with upside, a solid TE room, a legitimate WR1, multiple WR3s, and a rookie with upside . A WR2 is still needed, but this offense as a whole is talented. Let’s not act like JD is over here trying to do it all by himself.
@klwoodjr Probably could of lived with the inconsistency from his bat and allowed it to develop at the MLB level if his Defense was up to par (/or if it was what he showed throughout his minor league time). Unfortunate.
@therealmikefunk@McLaurinWR1 There’s atleast 16 teams in the league, that if they lost their WR1, they’d have the worst group in the league. That statement doesn’t mean much.
@Pete___Hughes@STabcdef@Xialater The Caps went out and got a skating coach the regularly fixes and transforms players into good to great skaters. It’s one of the reasons they haven’t been afraid about taking lackluster skaters over the past few years.
@CaptRyanElls@golions819@TheCupitals Every caps reporter has also said Leonard, Hutson, and I. Protas are untouchables, and JR is not far more valuable at this point due to age and the fact he needs a highly paid contract.
