Annnnd we’re live! The first third-party staking pool has officially launched on Yieldra Staking.

You can now stake $PNS to earn more $PNS, with 100% of deposit and early-withdrawal fees used to buy back $YRA for the Yieldra Treasury.

Launched in 2025, $PNS is a @Splinterlands community token featuring Vruz, the game’s cheeky goblin, reimagined as Bildo Baggins as its mascot.

What began as a memecoin later evolved into a digital asset treasury for $SPS and other Splinterlands assets. Although the original project was eventually retired, its remaining $10,000 USDT treasury will now be used to fund additional $PNS staking pools on Yieldra, details TBD.

This initial staking pool is the first of many opportunities to earn with your $PNS!

Staking rewards will start at 3PM UTC

To qualify for rewards, your $PNS must remain staked for at least one full epoch (6 hours). Your first reward will therefore be distributed approximately 6-12 hours after your initial stake, depending on when during the epoch you entered the pool.

The pool has initially been topped up with 69,696,969 $PNS tokens.

Pool Details
• Minimum staking period: 14 days
• Maximum staking period: 365 days
• Maximum lock bonus: 790.6%
• Bonus increase per epoch: 0.30%
• Reward pool distributed per epoch: 0.50%
• Early unstaking base penalty: 5%
• Additional early unstaking penalty: 0.05% per remaining epoch

Unlike traditional staking pools with a fixed amount of rewards distributed each epoch, the $PNS staking pool uses a decay-based reward model.

Each epoch, 0.22% of the remaining reward pool is distributed among eligible stakers according to their staking power. This creates a smooth, sustainable reward curve rather than relying on a predetermined emissions schedule.

The longer you commit, the greater your staking power!

🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk.

The malicious payload works by silently swapping crypto addresses on the fly to steal funds.

If you use a hardware wallet, pay attention to every transaction before signing and you're safe.

If you don’t use a hardware wallet, refrain from making any on-chain transactions for now.

It’s still unclear whether the attacker is also stealing seeds from software wallets directly at this stage.

@SpikeCollects I mean, $SPS had a very similar chart except recently it started reversing. If you check their Discord their community is thriving, and the game has never been better with new updates every week like clockwork, despite being a 7 year old project
