Some people are mad I’m posting this, but silence won’t fix it. This mom is living in a tent with her baby in a Seattle park. She openly calls the baby ‘just a trick.’ She already lost custody of two other kids. Multiple programs have tried to help her such as family shelters, housing, everything! But nothing was ‘quite the right fit.’ So the baby stays in the woods while she stays addicted.
Drugs are the problem. Enabling isn’t compassion. If we won’t talk about this, how the hell do we ever fix it? @BattleEndsHere @kmmoreland @ExecZahilay @MayorofSeattle @GovBobFerguson @HUDgov @SeattleCouncil BAN CAMPING!

@AGOWA Voter Rolls should only have legal citizens on it, so there should be no problem giving up the official list to verify that someone has not been voting for their dead grandmother for the past ten years whose ballots still arrive. There’s nothing wrong with verifying voter rolls.

‼️ A man new to the area was openly smoking fentanyl after sundown when he got in my face, snatched my phone, and started deleting my photos and videos.
Thankfully Nila vouched for me as a local homeless outreach provider and got it back.
Meanwhile, young kids and families are still walking right through this chaos every day.
We keep counting “homeless” when we should be counting drug addicts. That’s why we’re not solving this — we’re just trying to build our way out of a drug pandemic.
These people act like they have more rights than everyone else trying to live and help here. Make fentanyl a felony again. Stay safe out there. @MayorofSeattle @seattlepolice
