I really wish I knew the name of the talented artist. I'd certainly give credit. This painting has touched me in a powerful way, as it shows the precious girls running through water, to get to JESUS.

For several days, I've fervently prayed for the girls, their parents/families, and the courageous rescuers. I've cried, and then cried again and again, just overwhelmed with grief. I don't think that I've ever been as shaken by a news story, as this.

I hope you'll Share this moving art. People around the world need to see the joy on the girls faces and the warm, excited embrace of Christ.

UPDATE: Well, the mystery is solved. I know who the amazing artist is. Her name is Afton Burkard. She is incredibly talented and her humbleness is so refreshing. I posted this artwork on my page yesterday. Since then, it's been so well received that it's been Shared around the world, over FORTY THOUSAND times.

Thank you Afton, for creating such a powerful, moving piece of art. People are hurting and grieving and your work has been providing some much-needed healing. God is pleased with your sensitive work. I'm proud of you, Afton.
