It has been a while.... So tomorrow's challenge to my AP-CSP students will be to create a Turtle Race! ๐ข๐ข
This is my example for them to try and make...#coding#python ๐ (will try in on @TICalculators next week!)
Students this week are using #turtle on @TICalculators#coding in #python and will be creating snowflakes โ๏ธ. This collection of stars while holiday themed got me thinking it looked like ๐บ๐ธsoโฆ..
Learning to code is like learning to cook.
Even if you don't become a professional, knowing the techniques and concepts will help in understanding how the world works.
#CSEdWeek
Using a single function in #Python to create 3D art. Also using loops to create shading in an image. Lots of fun lessons ahead for an intro to #STEM class. #coding using @TICalculators
Let's start the school year with students thinking differently about everyday things. Challenge your S's to take a photo of their house number and see how they can express it in another way! If they live at 16 Maple ave, have them say they live at radical 256 Maple ave!
Lโค๏ธVING @hschhaya's posts about the Summer Games! Take a look at these two resources on ideas/activities you can can use with your students to engage them in some real data and get them thinking!

I saw @CmonMattTHINK post this question and I thought it would be a great #coding challenge. First to print a given number of rows of Pascal's triangle. Then to count the number of evens. I posed this challenge to a student and here is his success!!
@hschhaya@TICalculators Temperature data was collected with a Grove sensor. Might have to convert the data to Fahrenheit to make it look a bit more dramatic!
Here is the data plotted on a scatter plot on @TICalculators. Data collected by #coding in #python. Real data that can lead to some nice class discussions.
Doing some prep-work for collecting brightness and temperature data with @TICalculators#EclipseSolar2024 ๐คfor clear skies โ๏ธ and ๐
