@Sam_McElhinney Congratulations Sam! Fantastic news! Best wishes and hope the stay is brief for Lizzie and Freya.

@nimtimtim My friend's parents used to own that house! I lived there for 1.5 years between 2013-2015 - some very good memories. I also like the front facade features. Far less liking to the rear!

What a 90 minutes from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall! Embodied #lcfc defiance. Absolutely tireless and fearless against vaunted opponents. Cleared, covered, pressed. For the goal, stayed calm and focused, head up, looking for Lookman's run, five touches then playing him in. Home-grown🙌

Richard Rogers lobbied tirelessly but unsuccessfully for 30 years for the removal of VAT for refurb projects…we need to keep lobbying politicians for this change so that refurb becomes a more attractive proposition

@JasonBourne1986 To rhythm is a dancer:

We’ve got Patson Daka
Zambian attacker
He’ll score goals from anywhere

Lift your hands and voices
Free your mind and join us
You can feel it in the air

Woahhh-ohhh Patson Daka
Woahhh-ohhh He’ll score goals from anywhere
Woahhh-ohhh Patson Daka
Woahhh-oh

[Leicester City @LCFC]

Four goals, Patson? Four? That's insane.

This should be criminal. #Tokitae has spent over 50 years away from the #SouthernResidents and #L25 #OceanSun. And for what? Performing ridiculous routines in North America's smallest orca tank while @MiamiSeaquarium milks her for ticket sales? Enough. #FreeLolita #EmptytheTanks

[Gary Lineker @GaryLineker]

Going to a game purely as a fan, rather than working with monitors to view, made me realise how hopelessly bad the VAR experience in the ground is. Fans are kept in the dark. Football must learn from other sports and communicate with supporters and let them know what’s going on.

August 8, 2021 marks 51 years since Lolita's/Tokitae's capture off the coast of Washington State. She has been circling for decades in the smallest orca tank in North America. Go to https://t.co/XEgP4dTD8l to help. #RetireLolita #United4Lolita

Finland banned from raising a middle finger. Must feel a little peeved if you’ve literally just followed a woman dressed as a giant foam hand flicking the bird. #Eurovision

@kschmeichel1 speaks so passionately about @LCFC and the club's owners 💙

Wonderful. I’d never seen this before.

For no particular reason except that I like the photo (a recent version of many similar ones). There’s something sort of magical about going up a stadium stairs and that moment the pitch first comes into view, all bright and green and almost overwhelming.
