“We quickly pivoted back to business as usual. So we’re able to meet the needs of our patients who are counting on us for today. But this is incredibly disruptive.” - Nicole Clegg, President & CEO, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England

On Monday morning, SCOTUS paused the 5th Circuit’s ruling in Louisiana et al. v. FDA. While mifepristone access returns to where it was on Friday morning, the whiplash and chaos that patients and providers are navigating has already had real consequences for real peoples’ lives.
I’m glad mifepristone access has been temporarily restored, but it should never be at the whim of a judge or a politician.
Decisions about a woman’s body belong with her and her doctor. End of story.
(1/2) This just in! Governor Mills has signed at state budget that includes critical protections & funding to insure ongoing access to essential reproductive health care in Maine!
Despite continuing federal-level attacks on reproductive health care, Maine leaders are standing
We’re incredibly happy that Senator Rosenwald gets to enjoy her retirement, but she will be deeply missed by our team, by Planned Parenthood, and by supporters of repro rights all over the Granite State.
Senator Rosenwald has always been a champion for reproductive health care! She has been on the front lines fighting for us by opposing harmful policies and advocating for budgets that include critical funding. #NHPolitics
She has visited PPNNE health centers to thank the incredible providers, helped mitigate the harm of NH’s abortion ban, saved the NH family planning program, and always stayed positive when it wasn’t easy to do.
📢NH's latest abortion ban has been defeated! This bill served served no medical purpose, was cruel, and was completely unnecessary. #NHPolitics https://t.co/ExLFO8JaMW
Disappointing to see a majority of the NH House overturn the bipartisan committee report and vote to pass HB 1416, which shields anti-abortion centers from future - hypothetical - legislative attacks. #NHPolitics
We are encouraged that the NH House voted to maintain New Hampshire's patient safety zone. Reproductive health centers need every available tool in the public safety toolbox in order ensure Granite Staters safety when accessing safe, legal health care. #NHPolitics
As of noon on 2/9, here are the sign in numbers for two anti-abortion bills being heard this afternoon: #NHPolitics
HB 1702: Support: 0 | Oppose: 726 | Neutral: 0
HB 1769: Support: 1 | Oppose: 695 | Neutral: 0

Thank you @SenatorHassan for fighting back on misinformation. 25 years of data and more than 100 peer-reviewed studies prove mifepristone is safe and effective and a critical medication to provide abortion access for millions of people. #NHPolitics
.@SenatorHassan: "When I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks it was painful. It was hard and it was emotional and Mifepristone had nothing to do with it. I didn't use Mifepristone. I had to have a D&C. So the gaslighting here is extraordinary."
The NH Senate voted 16-8 to accept the amendment to HB 191, adding restrictions for patients seeking safe, legal abortion. NH law already requires parental notification prior; the law also allows for a judicial bypass. Neither are accounted for in this bill. #NHPolitics
