A police detective on Long Island was arrested for attempted sexual exploitation of a child.

Robert Sacco, 38, allegedly spoke with an undercover officer for several months where he expressed a sexual interest in children and discussed meeting the undercover's "10-year-old daughter" to sexually abuse her.

He suggested video chatting with the decoy and the child so that he could watch her be sexually abused for his gratification.

Sacco has been with the Nassau Police Department for at least a decade.
