@jhuntpath Read ur article on thyroid tissue in cerv nodes; have weird case of young person w multiple neck masses and "positive" molecular test (don't know which one); FNA and core show absolutely benign looking thyroid tissue, FNA is almost just colloid...

Anybody know what this material is from a brain biopsy? There was metastatic melanoma and abundant hemorrhage elsewhere #neuropath #pathology @anniekey @mlage

@mlage @anniekey Thanks, probably not suture given the amorphous gross nature of it; I was thinking gelfoam like material, didn't know if they used that in neurosx, or something like it. There was zero cellular materiel in a decent sized bx (there was tumor in other separate bxs)
