In countries such as the United States, when a new government assumes office, the previous administration’s official social media accounts are properly archived to preserve their full historical record, with only the handle transferred to the incoming team.
In contrast, the TVK government has taken over the previous DMK government’s official X account for the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ scheme, renamed it ‘TN Skill Corporation’, and deleted all related past posts and videos.
This is equivalent to a new accountant tearing up the old account books containing previous entries and starting from scratch. Anyone who handles official records in this manner is unfit to serve as an accountant. When those responsible for a programme that shapes the future of Tamil Nadu act in this way, the state is truly doomed.
