@daisyldixon @Helenreflects Sorry you had that experience. Funny what pushes people's buttons. For a long time I favoured the description "recovering philosopher" - perhaps Paul still has some recovery to do.
Fun to be asked to do a light-hearted piece on the history of the wheeled bin on #bbcpm this evening. For anyone interested to know more, here's an article covering more of the subject matter: https://t.co/jzBU5VdQDW
@EnvAgency Just been hunting about for the latest MF sampling data, which used to be published through the MF Portal. It looks like the latest England data covers 2020: https://t.co/qFw941r5i9
Is that right? Or has there been a more recent release? Or is one forthcoming?

Grateful to @letsrecycle for the opportunity to speak (virtually) at the National Civic Amenity Site Conference today. As I wasn't able to take part in the Q&A I'm happy to take any questions from attendees via Twitter re: the new rules for charging for DIY waste at HWRCs.

Thanks @RWM_Exhibition for the opportunity to speak today at the Local Authority Theatre. Good questions from the audience on the future of council waste collections, and great to hear the views of other panelists.
@LukeHaines_News A wonderful record. What gets me is how perfectly the abrasiveness of the tone sits with the complexity of the rhythms. Have you seen this analysis of Frownland? Really spells out the complexity of what is going on in one of the shorter songs on the album. https://t.co/aJpoK1eB3K
An issue when comparing the average carbon footprint of food is that it hides the variation *within* a given food.
But the key message doesn't change: the 'best' (lowest impact) meats still tend to emit more than the 'worst' plant-based foods.
