Students and staff celebrated Cultural Heritage Day for our fifth spirit day of the year. Students identified how we can represent our cultures in many ways and shared family traditions throughout the day.

Today, @NYCSchools participated in our first Plastic Free Lunch Day. Students are currently learning about the effects plastic has on our environment and what we can do to create a change.
Career Day at PS 12: Students took part in a discussion with Sergeant Jones and Sergeant Phillips from the US Army. Students received information about the various careers within the army and impact they make.
Career Week at PS 12 began with an informative visit from Court Officers. Officer Morrow-Rogers and Officer Lamothe discussed their role & responsibilities on a day to day basis with professionalism. Students discussed how they can become a Court Officer & add to their community.

The PS 12 Kindness Committee and Green Team met with Principal @ShamikaWatson4 and Ms. Kowal to continue their advocacy for energy conservation. Students discussed their plan of action for PS 12 and how to get others involved.
