It’s Hatching Season at PS 12! Students take part in wonderful hands on lessons about the life cycle of a chicken. Students observed the process of eggs, embryos, hatchlings and chicks.

Yesterday, students harvested cucumbers, lettuce, and herbs to create salads & cucumber sandwiches. Students learn how important it is to know where our food sources come from. @SheneanL & students discussed the process students took to create their recipes.

PS 12 Scholars celebrated the autumn season with a Fall Festival. Student visited a pumpkin patch and animal exhibit in on site.

Culinary Chefs made taquitos during their Enrichment Club session. Students prepped and prepared their ingredients to create their meals.

PS 12 Scholars took part in a process of creating electricity using wind. Students designed and created a modern turbine to spin fast. This information was tracked using a multimeter.
