@ToddZolecki Let me guess... he said that he needs to be better after the game, right? Nola's implosion after being handed a lead and fake accountability is as predictable as an Andy Reid press conference. Time's yours.
@MattGelb Unfortunately he's going to be a very expensive DFA. Fingers crossed the new CBA will allow the Phillies to find a way to jettison that loser and his God-awful contract.
@JoyOnBroad Sure, but you could see it coming. The first team defending is sloppy and inconsistent. The reserves are significantly worse... way too loose and disconnected.
@ArcainiLuke It's a real shame he decided to bring Alvarado into the game. But I place that blame squarely on Dombrowski and Preston Mattingly for re-signing that loser in the first place.
@Bob_Wankel This Phillies ballclub is stale and lifeless. Running it back was always an awful idea... even though we all know they don't really have any other choice due to the horrific farm system and bloated long term contracts. We're toast.
@Bob_Wankel Putrid offense nullifies any advantage Phillies pitching staff might provide.
There's no bat coming from the minors to save the day either. Extremely flawed roster construction.
@Bob_Wankel There's just no margin for error with this anemic offense. Definitely not making an excuse for Kerkering, though, because that was an absolutely awful pitch.
Guess we'll see if this results in a mental death spiral for him.
