Democracy is dying at the hands of elected officials using pseudo democratic processes to abuse institutions that brought them to power. They will tell you 500k people endorsed CAB3; but the hearings were manipulated. Everyone debated in Parliament yet they disrupted debates.
CAB3 should never see the light of the day. In-fact, mutilation or attempted mutilation of the constitution must be a prosecutable crime in the future. There are certain sections of the constitution that must never be amended, for example amending the constitution to alter or remove term limits must be illegal and punishable at law.
CAB3 is not "unstopable". Parliament is only one theatre of the struggle. The courts remain seized with the matter. The people remain seized with the Constitution. Stay hopeful. Stay encouraged.

“The People Did Not Ask for This Bill" - Hon. Karenyi Kore Rejects CAB 3 in Parliament
Hon. Karenyi Kore's contribution to the parliamentary debate on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB 3).
During the debate, Hon. Karenyi argued that the people of Zimbabwe did not ask for the Bill and called for it to be subjected to a referendum.
She also raised concerns about electoral reforms, political violence, corruption, and the need for an electoral system that citizens can trust.
"The people did not ask for this Bill. CAB 3 does not create a single job and should be subjected to a referendum to avoid a conflict of interest. We want an electoral system citizens can trust. People want opportunities, not an extension of political power. The problem is not the Constitution; it is political violence and corruption. The voice of the people must remain the voice of our democracy. I stand with unemployed youth, farmers, vendors, workers, mothers and pensioners." — Hon. Karenyi Kore during debate on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.
🚩🚩Ask yourself these questions:
1⃣Why do these people want two more years?
2⃣Why are they investing in bribing people to say yes to an unconstitutional bill?
Listen to what the DCP Convenor, @JamesonTimba, said!
Zimbabweans have been speaking with one voice: we do not want the Constitutional Amendment Bill No.3, as it does not address the current crisis we are facing as a nation.
Say NO to the continuation of economic hardships, corruption, collapsing public services, state capture, and low wages by saying #2030Musipo!
They know a referendum is not something they can easily manipulate, as they cannot buy everyone to vote yes for their unconstitutional bill. #RejectCAB3
At 81, Webster Shamu is shamelessly mutilating the constitution to chase a 2030 term extension so he can drool in a parliamentary seat at 85.
While progressive age-mates retired long ago, this exhausted octogenarian is clinging to power like a tick. Turning Parliament into a glorified nursing home just to satisfy toxic, archaic greed is absolute madness. #ZanuPFMustGo
