3) UK law differs from most Continental European legal system in not allowing good faith purchases of stolen objects. Accordingly, if the dealer didn't acquire the fossils in such a jurisdiction, there's no way they had title to it. Cf. this case: https://t.co/Z7s80bJJ0Q /end

1) It's great to see a return from the UK since I don't see a lot of cultural property being repatriated from there - I guess it's easier if the artefacts are in a dealership and not in a museum yet. /1
