یہ خواہش ن لیگ اور پی ڈی ایم کی سپریم کورٹ میں ہوتی تھی کہ ہمارے کیسز جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسٰی، جسٹس سردار طارق مسعود اور جسٹس منصور علی شاہ سنیں ،
ان کی اس خواہش کی وجہ قاضی فائز عیسٰی صاحب کے چیف جسٹس بننے کے بعد درست بھی ثابت ہوئی کیونکہ قاضی صاحب کو کل چیف جسٹس بنے ہوئے دو ماہ ہو جائیں گے،
ان دو ماہ میں پی ڈی ایم کے خلاف کوئی ایک زبانی آبزرویشن تک نہیں آئی اور عمران خان، تحریک انصاف کے درجن معاملات سپریم کورٹ ہیں، ان کے حق میں آئین اور میرٹ پر ایک لفظ تک نہیں بولا گیا، نہ کچھ کیا گیا ،
نوازشریف کی واپسی سمیت ہر وہ ریلیف جو پاکستان کی تاریخ میں کسی کو نہیں ملا، وہ قاضی فائز عیسٰی صاحب کے آنے کے بعد نیچے کی عدالتیں دیے جارہی ہیں،
آج بشریٰ بی بی کے وکیل انتظار حسین پنجھوتہ اور علی اعجاز بٹر نے یہ نہیں کہا کہ ہمارا کیس کسی مخصوص بنچ کے پاس لگا دیں بلکہ انہوں نے چیف جسٹس اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ جسٹس عامر فاروق صاحب سے یہ کہا کہ آپ اپنے عمل سے ثابت کررہے ہیں کہ آپ عمران خان کے معاملے میں اپنے حلف سے وفا نہیں کررہے، ہمیں آپ پر ایک فیصد بھی اعتماد نہیں، لہذا آپ اپنے علاوہ یہ کیس

جسٹس میاں گل حسن اورنگزیب صاحب ،
جسٹس طارق محمود جہانگیری صاحب ،
جسٹس بابر ستار صاحب،

جسٹس ثمن رفعت امتیاز صاحبہ
میں سے کسی کے پاس بھی لگا دیں،
ہمیں آپ کے علاوہ ان سب ججز پر اعتماد ہے کہ وہ اپنے حلف کا کچھ نا کچھ پاس ضرور رکھیں گے،
اس لیے یہ تاثر غلط ہے کہ عمران خان اور بشریٰ بی بی کسی مخصوص جج کے پاس کیس لگوانا چاہتے ہیں،
وہ صرف ایک مخصوص جج کے پاس نہیں لگوانا چاہتے باقی سب پر ان کو اعتماد ہے

#Pakistan🇵🇰 The International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) expresses its deep concern about the conduct of the recent elections in Pakistan, which have been marked by significant challenges that threaten the very core of democratic integrity and human rights. The imposition of blockades on social networks and telecommunications platforms, as well as credible reports of numerous potential electoral irregularities, cast a long shadow over the fairness and transparency of the electoral process. More worryingly, reported hostilities by elements within the military establishment against candidates, activists, workers and voters associated with the political party of former Prime Minister Imran Khan raise serious questions about the role of state institutions in upholding democratic principles. Such actions not only undermine public confidence in the electoral process, but also jeopardise the fundamental rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly.

The spectre of instability fuelled by these undemocratic practices is a source of grave concern, with the potential to plunge the nation into turmoil and conflict. At this critical juncture, we remind all law enforcement and military officials of their sacrosanct duty to uphold human rights and adhere strictly to the rule of law. The international legal framework unequivocally prohibits arbitrary arrests, the use of excessive force, the bringing of false charges, the violation of the right to defence and the abhorrent practice of torture. These principles are non-negotiable and are the bedrock of any society committed to justice and the rule of law. It is incumbent upon all state actors to exercise restraint, ensure accountability and foster an environment where civil liberties are protected and respected.

The International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) calls on all stakeholders in Pakistan's electoral process, from government officials to civil society actors, to reaffirm their commitment to democratic norms and the sanctity of the electoral process. It is imperative to avoid any action that could provoke unrest or violence, and to maintain calm and non-violence. The international community must unite to uphold democratic values and ensure that elections are not only free, but truly reflect the will of the people. The foundation of democracy is the equal and fair participation of all citizens in the electoral process, free from coercion, intimidation or violence. We demand unwavering respect for these democratic principles to safeguard the future of Pakistan and its people.
