@jacobzanolla @Cubs_Daily1 He doesn’t deserve all the blame for injuries but he’s running things and injuries continue to pile up. Plus his poor evaluation on bullpen pieces will continue to handicap this team if he is not willing to pay up at the deadline. You don’t just get credit for trying

@Davey_Baseball @sports_reliable He doesn’t just get credit for making moves. He half-asses the bullpen every offseason and makes one good move and calls it good. His evaluation is clearly poor on Bullpen pieces and he’s not willing to “overpay” at the deadline. Bad combination

@Ricoknowstiktok I have watched enough to know that I do not believe in Colandrea’s skill set at the power conference level. And Joseph is going to a completely different offensive scheme that is a huge wildcard. I’d rather have Houser than both

My dark horse QB to finish as QB1 for 2027 is CJ Carr.

More will be asked of him this year and if he keeps improving I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get #1 pick buzz. Special ball placement and great pocket feel. Does not have elite tools but I don’t think it matters for him

I refuse to believe this is anything other than agent speak. I expect a team to take a flier in the mid to later rounds but I don’t expect to see Sorsby much in the NFL

Brendan Sorsby would’ve been in the mix to be QB1 in the 2026 draft. Now, despite the circumstances that led up to this moment, Sorsby remains a top NFL prospect. The supplemental draft is set for next month.
