Picking/Packing - A Thread.
We've all seen the @Telegraph and the £30 an hour claim. This is bollocks! So here is a thread to give the reality a little bit of airing.
This applies as much to packing eggs as picking fruit/veg. So as you all know, I have plenty of experience here
Proud to have a blog piece published in the BMJ !! 🩺 Student nurses’ experiences of studying our very unique degree during the pandemic - my thoughts 🦠 #COVID19#studentnurse#nursing@bmj_latest 💙

@Jess_PUNC21 Sometimes starting with an annotated reference list helps - it also means your not worrying about references when your finished writing ✍️
Last year, NHS staff paid £90 MILLION to be able to park at work. Many car parks are now run by private companies who reap in the profits from frontline staff.
If you think that this is a disgrace and NHS staff should be able to park for free please RT

This is utter tosh. Taxing capital gains as earned income raises £17bn + £8bn in national insurance, taxing dividends as earned income raises £5bn, charging NI at the std 12% rate on income above £50k raises £14bn. Numerous other possibilities. Money is no excuse for cutting UC.
going through my Twitter feed and as much as I am thrilled and pleased for all those who graduated from @PlymUni today it’s been a bit of a kick in the teeth for us in Class of 2020 who still do not know if we will ever get to experience our ‘Seaside Graduation’ #ForgottenCohort
Don’t get me wrong, congratulations to everyone who graduated today and rightly so 🎉 but I’m finding it hard to scroll through social media right now with all the graduation posts 😔😢 @PlymUni#punc17@upsu#forgottencohort2020#exeson#plymuni
I cannot express how saddened I am that my fellow students of the 2020 nursing cohort and I are not graduating once again! Ive cried, Ive felt angered, I feel let down and confused! Are we becoming the forgotten cohort of 2020! 😢 #nograduation#theforgotten#nursingcohort2020
Thought I'd got over the fact that the Sept17 cohort didn't get a graduation but seeing everyone's photos and videos has made me feel bitter.
Forgotten cohort even though we headed off into the NHS early to help during the pandemic and started as NQ in the most difficult year🙁
@PlymUni Will this be a proper “graduation” style event though or just like a party? Because what I really want is to have that moment of recognition in my cap and gown as a graduate of the university. I worked hard to get my first class honours and just want to celebrate that properly.
@punc20morgan Write her a bit about what you learned from her for her revalidation .. best way to say thank you and it really helps your reflective writing skills ❤️
