With attention on Wang Wang and the horrific treatment of animals in China right now, it is time to bring the plight of cats and kittens in China's vast online torture networks back into the spotlight too.
Tens of thousands, I repeat TENS OF THOUSANDS cats and kittens have been mutilated and tortured in the most medieval and vile ways that you can think of for profit in China.
A lot of this happens not even on encrypted messaging apps, but on their open Chinese social media platforms! In plain sight!
Let's help these poor kitties along with getting justice for Wang Wang and push China to enshrine laws that protect ALL animals in its land, not just pandas and tigers.
We don't want to enrich anywhere where animal mutilation and torture films THRIVE as an industry!
Please visit @felineguardians whose website has so many links and resources on how you can help, such as by sending letters to Chinese consuls and ambassadors and by listing specific brands to boycott! So many ways we can take direct action!

❗Hey @BBCBreaking, will you write how RUSSIAN terrorists used cluster bombs on the center of Kyiv?
In case you didn't know, cluster munitions are a WAR CRIME.
Maybe you can ask your russian oligarchs to stop bombing us?
Look at his face 💔 The monster who recorded it was amused to see the kitten’s frightened reaction. Kitten murder is accepted and legal in China. Until the chinese end their kitten torture industry, they are worth less than garbage. I curse them. I speak for the victims.
FUN FACT: Mitch McConnell has been on paid medical leave for 51 days now. That's over 7 weeks.
This is a week longer than the 6 weeks of maternity leave that women in the US are not guaranteed after giving birth.
🔴 EXCLUSIVE: An interview with the human safari survivor.
Yuri, 52, was sorting out garlic at his farmers market stand when a Russian drone started to chase him. It pursued Yuri around in circles and then struck him.
Yuri and his doctor spoke to me at a hospital in Kherson🧵
So they’re just casually reporting that Israel built seven military bases IN LEBANON.
If you live in the US, this is what your tax dollars are funding.
Before buying any garbage from SHEIN, remember what chinese did to this innocent boy. Know that there is no justice for him in china, because it is legal to do this to cats in china. Cat torture is normalized and accepted by the Chinese as a whole. #BoycottChina
Thomas Martel is a pure evil scumbag.
This 25-year-old bought kittens online, named every single one Shelly, then drowned them, mutilated them, decapitated them, and microwaved them for fun in his Chicago apartment. His girlfriend found the Snapchat video of a kitten still alive with the caption “Right before I murdered her.” He told her he had been killing cats since he was a kid.
He pleaded guilty to animal torture and aggravated cruelty. The judge gave him four and a half years. Illinois counted over a thousand days of electronic monitoring as time served, so he reported to prison and walked out the same damn day. Now he is back living in his family’s nearly million-dollar mansion in Northbrook on six months of supervised release.
This is not justice. This is a joke. Animal torture like that is a warning sign, and the system just handed him a free pass because his family has money and the laws are soft.
Monsters like this do not stop at cats.
Remember the name Thomas Martel. We will likely see his name in the headlines again.

The Sulala animal shelter held out as long as they could, but Israel's demonic ambitions reached their area in 2024. They had no way to transport all the dogs, so they left the gates open and opened every bag of food they had to sustain the dogs as long as possible. The dogs didn't bolt for the gates to run away, nor did they stay to eat all the food at their disposal. They chased the people who cared for them. This was the scene.
Two of those dogs miraculously traveled over ten miles and found the shelter family. I suspect most of them have been killed or starved to death, just like the humans have been killed and starved.
Saeed, his son Saed, and other family members are still caring for stray animals in Gaza, and have set up medical points for pets and working animals. But this scene still haunts them.
It's a sense of failure. I feel it too. So many of us do. Failure to protect the most vulnerable in this world.
There is still an entire society, besieged for twenty years, held in a concentration camp that doubled as a weapons testing laboratory for Jewish supremacists, then an extermination zone for the past three years. They have no real way to fight back. And we've all just watched. Day in and day out. People, young and old, burned alive, incinerated, evaporated by weapons we can't comprehend, starved, plagued with disease, terrorized, degraded, amputated, shredded, humiliated, destroyed.
The Tucson Basin aquifer takes centuries to refill. It's now approved for 31 million gallons a year, forever, for an AI data center.
Two supervisors took campaign checks from a land developer with a stake in the deal. Fourteen months later, those same two supervisors cast the deciding votes to approve the land sale, 3-2.
Seven weeks after that, the city council voted 7-0 to block it. No water. No annexation. Nothing.
It didn't matter, because city water and groundwater aren't decided the same way. City water needs a council vote. Groundwater just needs a state agency to check a box on a form, no public vote required, no matter how many people show up.
So residents won the only vote they were ever given, and the developer simply used the water source that was never up for a vote at all.
The contractor also used over 500,000 gallons of city water without permission for dust control, then got caught anyway, dust crossing the property line on two separate days. Fines up to $10,000 a day are legal here. The county charged them nothing.
And here's what residents never got to weigh in on until it was too late: the county had been quietly negotiating this deal since 2022, three full years before the public ever knew it existed.
They won seven to zero, and it changed nothing underground.
How do you lose a fight you already won?
