I invite El Inmortal and everyone who genuinely believes FIFA has already scripted this World Cup for Messi and Argentina to put their money where their mouth is.
You still have time. Argentina vs. England is on Wednesday.
Sell your house. Take out loans. Bet everything on Argentina. If the tournament is really scripted, it’s guaranteed money. You’ll become a Millionaire overnight.
But you won’t.
Because deep down, even you don’t believe the nonsense you’re posting.
Messi didn’t become the greatest because of one World Cup. He spent nearly two decades dominating football, breaking records, winning trophies, and earning the respect of teammates, coaches, rivals, and legends of the game.
And if FIFA really wrote the script, explain why Messi lost four major international finals before finally winning one. Explain why he spent years being mocked for not having an international trophy. That’s a terrible script.
The reality is simple: when Messi loses, you say he’s finished. When he wins, you say it’s rigged. The only thing that’s actually scripted is the excuses you come up with every time he proves you wrong.
Messi lost the 2007 Copa América final.
He lost the 2014 World Cup final.
He lost the 2015 Copa América final.
He lost the 2016 Copa América final.
Back then, nobody was calling him “FIFA’s favorite.” They mocked him, said he was finished with Argentina, that he only performed for Barcelona because of Xavi and Iniesta.
Then he won the 2021 Copa América, the 2022 World Cup, and the 2024 Copa América.
Suddenly he’s “FIFA’s favorite.”
The hypocrisy is obvious. Losing? He’s a failure. Winning? It’s because he’s protected. The goalposts never stop moving.
@Nicocantor1 ....great explanation of the " Why context " but you missed the most important! Argentina block Two intents of being colonized by England in 1805 and 1807 when they defeated Spain ! The took Malvinas island, but not the Continental portion!
So it's a long anti colonialist fight
@patrickbetdavid ....today, Beckham and Messi are friends and partners! It's a game, it's a classic, but the societies process this game as a Geopolitical supremacy....that should be you analysis, why Argentinian and British have that ideological dispute.
@patrickbetdavid ...then Malvinas, México 1986 and Maradona best goal ever in World Cups including the vengeance Hand of God....so is already a classic!
