@prairiehsewife My parents have always been willing and cheerful for any babysitting opportunity. Sadly they lived far enough away to make it challenging. My in laws only wanted them if they could have them overnight which was largely useless.

@SilentSnow89 I have serious doubts about the alleged coercion for MAID in Canada. An acquaintance of mine has terminal cancer and is facing a painful drawn out end. The amount of paperwork work and counseling required to access MAID is significant.

@OrevaZSN I find the air in hotels to be very dry. Ice on the carpet or in the bathtub evaporates over night and adds a bit of humidity to dry air.

@Rosah3tv @dmthomas90 @SurtseyAna Processed food is more expensive in my experience. You can get rice and beans much cheaper than processed pizza and a shepherds pie is a lot cheaper than a pizza bake. Heck plain of spaghetti and some salad is cheaper than anything on that list.
