@OrcsMustDie I don't know how you guys do bug reports.... but In Orcs must die 3, there is a bug in coastal hallways where enemies stay in the spawn and don't come out. Enemies also ran from one spawn to another.
@MrsSeibert94 I have to consistently be in the back of my room monitoring my students at all times. I find that the students have a nasty habit of checking messages or playing games while we are in class. The front of my room is clear for me to use my smart board as well. #wuedt6020
@brendanwilmu Some classes I'll have 3 separate ways to learn a topic. I'll have a low level, medium level, and high level for students at different ability levels. This helps level the students out and challenge those who want to be challenged. #wuedt6020
@AndreaEnnis8 That is what I heard as well. I have also found that being consistent is important as well. I penalize my students who are caught playing games in my class as required by my school's expectations. Problem I find is that students can switch screens so fast. #wuedt6020
@MaggieB96493399 One way you can help with students is by using youtube or discovery video. Both of these medias are able to personalize student learning with either specialists or related videos to the content.
@ElyssaWilmu I enjoy using @nearpod as well in my classrooms. I am actually using it right now in my genetics unit to help my students understand the different forms of inheritance. It's a wonderful resource to use when it's at student pace #wuedt6020
I've used flipgrid in my class to use as technology collaboration. Flipgrid will allow students to post a 1-2 minute video on any topic. Students can then post comments on the video allowing them to collaborate with anyone in their class or at their school. #wuedt6020
@Piccarreta18 this @twiducate is super useful and gives a whole new aspect of twitter I was not aware about. I'll be sure to use this in my upcoming research and being more twitter literate. #wuedt6020
@danielhbecker1 It's fun that you mentioned snapchat as an idea to connect to others in the classroom. I agree the snapchat is useful since most students partake in it. I've had my students snap what we've done in class to their friends and family. #wuedt6020
Wk 4: A great way to get students connected internationally or globally is by having a site or platform in which they can communicate or collaborate on. I believe making websites or incorporating podcasts would be an excellent method. #wuedt6020
The emerging trend I plant to use will be Augmented Reality. I have used VR with Google Expeditions and plan to use Google AR expeditions for the same reasons! #WUEDT6020
@gracekisaacs1 , I've used plenty of Biology VR assignments already in class. I would say look at Google Expeditions or Discovery VR. They are outstanding resources for you to use! #WUEDT6020
@EKmeczWilmU , It was the first time that I made an infographic myself for this class. I definitely see the potentials of using the infographics for classroom projects and to see what the students come up with. #WUEDT6020
I've already done research into virtual reality in the classroom. Currently the next emerging trend I plan to look at is augmented reality. I'd like to see which is more useful in enhancing education. #wuedt6020
