The $1 Million Season 1 of @Moku_HQ’s Grand Arena ended today, and I finished #2 on the leaderboard with an estimated payout of $103,000+.

After 3 months of grinding through the brutal bear market in crypto gaming, we finally hit the light at the end of the tunnel.

This was a big success for the Moku team. A live trial by fire like this let them iterate fast over 90 days. The season felt long and definitely had things to improve, but overall the direction was positive.

The introduction of $bRON was arguably the best liquidity injection I’ve seen in my 5 years in crypto gaming. It completely turned the season around halfway through.
@Ronin_Network deserves real credit for pushing bonded app/gaming tokens forward. Injecting liquidity into a game economy specifically for in-game spend is a great model, and the execution in the second half of the season was incredible.

Overall, this was one of the best web3 gaming experiments I’ve participated in, and one of the biggest payouts I’ve ever won from any video game.

My results from @Moku_HQ Grand Arena Season 1:

A breakdown of my costs/profits:

I spent around $4K USD on cards during the season.

I sold roughly $2.5K USD worth of cards as people caught on to which cards were strong, bringing my net card spend down to about -$1.5K.

Unfortunately, I also lost around $2.5K to rake throughout the season. I wanted to beat rake and really min-max gains, but by the end I chose to keep pushing volume.

That brought me to roughly -$4K.

However, because I pushed more volume, I earned around $4.4K USD worth of BRON incentives through deposit bonuses + airdrop incentives for participating.

So before final rewards, I was back to around +$400.

Then the final season payout was $15.7K, bringing me to about $16K USD in pure profit for the season

And I still own around 2K cards, in case they have future utility
