I want to share a little bit about JS Hooks on Xahau. Today we launched a testnet for the JS Hooks Amendment. Adding support for custom logic deployed on ledger, written in plain Javascript.

For years, we've been hearing big promises about blockchain's potential. But let's be honest - development has often been a headache. Complex frameworks, steep learning curves, and solutions that don't quite fit real-world needs.

That's why we're genuinely excited about JS Hooks. It's not another overhyped feature - it's a practical tool that addresses real problems.

Here's the deal: JS Hooks let you write custom logic for the blockchain in JavaScript. Yes, plain old JavaScript. The same language you probably use every day. No new jargon, no obscure syntax.

What does this mean in practice? It means you can create solutions that actually fit your specific needs. Whether you're dealing with unique regulatory requirements or trying to solve a particular business problem, you can now tailor your blockchain logic precisely.

And the best part? The development process is faster and more intuitive. You can iterate quickly, test thoroughly, and deploy with confidence. It's the kind of workflow we've always wanted but rarely got in the blockchain space.

We're not saying JS Hooks will solve every problem overnight. But it's a tangible step forward - a tool that brings blockchain development closer to the everyday reality of developers and businesses.

This isn't about grand visions or marketing hype. It's about making blockchain technology more accessible, more flexible, and more useful in the real world. And that's something we can all get behind.

While working on documentation and tooling, we'll start testing now on a live, consensus enabled JS Hooks testnet, instead of our local machines. The first Proof of Concepts we'll work on have a clear use case & are commercially viable products for the smart monitoring / service industry.

While at @rippleswell I learned an amazing thing about a specific hook on the @XahauNetwork: You can install a Hook that sends your complete balance to another wallet in case of no activity for a pre-designated amount of time. So, My wife has no real clue what to do with my #crypto wallet.

But.... with this this Hook installed, if I die and there is no activity on my wallet for let's say two weeks, my complete balance can be sent to a another wallet.For instance a trusted third party, who then could release the balance to my wife. Or, if I understand correctely, you could even install a second hook that would then exchange my crypto for fiat and sent it to her bank account.

But you could also use this Hook for in case you get locked out of your wallet and lost your 'keys'. It would all be sent to a back up wallet.

Now how cool is that. @XahauNetwork and Hooks rock... Your creativity is your limit. Thanks support from @XummWallet for this cool example.

There is no app to remove multiple trustlines in one shot.

The XRPL requires a single transaction to remove each trustline.
