It was the only remaining bag to be delivered on their run.
Drivers had no idea as to how many other busses were making deliveries today.
All the bags are claimed to be in VRA as of 10am this morning.

A baggage worker came out and said that 50 airTransat bags were shipped out this morning via bus to resorts.
Told him I’m not at a resort. He said “he would have a look”
Waiting for a while longer, but it’s a mess here. Very very busy

AT baggage in MTL said all bags have shipped now. Only 7 remaining were put on the flight this morning.
Tracing is not being updated due to volume.

Speaking with AT rep outside airport as they may have sent it out on a bus delivery (I’m not at a resort, so they are calling the driver to check to confirm if my bag is onboard).

@amac44888 @megan_amaral @ShailahDamji @airtransat @djinfared @TorontoPearson Conflicting info, but we’ve been told that a full baggage flight was inbound this morning. Some in line received calls and updated tracing info showing bags are here. One lady has been told 1 of 2 has arrived.
Line has now grown ever further.

Tried to walk in, but stopped immediately….security has been dealing with people looking for their bags for the past several days.

@amac44888 No, world tracing still says “search continues”. Don’t know if it is an accurate representation and will actually update once the bags are shipped. One would think it should show the current location as the bags are all barcoded, but at this point who knows.

@amac44888 Just checked world tracing, as you said no change in status. At least if the bags are confirmed to be on the ground at VRA I can head to the airport tomorrow and physically ask the baggage department (if they do not reach out first).

@amac44888 I’m heading back Jan 2nd. Pretty much given up on receiving my bags. Will go shopping tomorrow, but can’t replace the Christmas gifts I had packed.
Wonder if anyone has a contact at CargoJet or DHL…the airlines should be chartering cargo carriers to fix this mess.
