@RAIL I gave up on EMR a few years ago and always travel via Doncaster, joining the LNER Azuma, ironically almost the same train as the failing EMR 810s - the switch to bimodal and shorter trains is definitely “non standard” and perhaps a bridge too far for Hitachi Rail and the MD!
