As I celebrate my 53rd Birthday, I am profoundly thankful for the divine grace that has carried me through these years. I stand in the ray of gratitude for the gift of my beautiful wife and children, whose love has been my fortress, the blessing of my family, the companionship of friends, the leadership of my mentors, and the love of my admirers. I am truly grateful.

Yet, on this day of personal joy, my heart reaches out to my beloved country, Nigeria. Our nation is blessed with rich diversity, abundant resources, and enormous talent but persists in unending struggles. Yes, we have weathered many storms, but like the dawn that faithfully follows the darkest night, I am filled with hope for a brighter future for our dear Nigeria.

As we forge ahead, let us remember that the strength of Nigeria lies not merely in the might of its resources but within the hearts of its people. I urge us all to never lose sight of our collective potential and to hold fast to the promise of a Nigeria where peace, prosperity, and unity is not just a wishful mantra in our coat of arms of our national anthem but a factual statement.

On this special day, I look forward to the future. Indeed, it's not our struggles or errors that define our essence. Instead, it's the way we show up with resilience and courage that describes our journey. Let us rise together, for the Nigeria we know is POssible. Our collective vision of a New Nigeria is a cherished one. We must embrace, protect, and nurse it to life with our creative imagination.
